I'll be looking for them, will be happy to pick up extras if they don't have what you're looking for in your area, and vice versa. I live in the Wal-Mart world capital, so they better well be here.

I'm in Central Florida, and no sightings here so far. Will post when I manage to find any and get my hands on them.

Just picked one up tonight, impulsively. Repro toys are usually not my bag, but it caught me by surprise and I gave in...... They had only one lonely Land Adventurer.

I better check my Wal*Mart tomorrow after work. I want the whole set. I hope they have them. There's already some on eBay so I guess the madness has begun.

                *supply your own French accent....

Both Walmart and Target don't have nearby stores in my area.
It's at least a 45 minute drive for me. Pretty odd since one the biggest shopping areas in the country (Paramus, NJ) is only 10 minutes away from me! Somehow the big boxes haven't found their way there.

                    Anyone got pics of these?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I got a couple Air Adv today from Urban outfitters. I gotta say I was pretty excited to open one up. The boxes are real nice. Joe himself seems kinda loosely strung and the hair isn't as cool. It's shorter and harder, but over all very cool and fun to open. I'll post some pics in a bit.

The thing that sucks about that Air Adventurer, is he's dressed in Sea Adventurer threads. Wal Mart figs are correct:

I think that's what makes him cool. It was a nice screw up. Man go to take one of those suckers out of the box. There's like 6 ties and a band on the pistol.

Hopefully they show up at your local Wal Mart soon. I usually don't fall for this sort of thing, but I went to Wal Mart to run an errand and I took a jaunt down the toy aisle. Seeing these things stacked high made me feel like I was 4 years old again. The boxes are pretty close to the originals. I gave in and bought a set. They are pretty nice looking in person. I'd have to say that the air and sea guys look the most fake. The other three look pretty spot on.

Picked up three of the five myself at walmart today. They are actually fairly nice.
