You only have $10 left and can only see one movie this Summer?

I saw the previews to Die hard and it looks like too much BS for a 50+ year old guy to be doing

As opposed to fake CGI robots like in Transformers?

With all respect, my question would be: is that a good enough reason not to
see a movie-----
especially a "Die Hardish" movie wherein usually by the time the first half hour
is over there are people doing things in those movies that NO one---even
TWENTY YEAR olds reasonably could "officially" believably be doing physically
in "real life"?

Exactly.

I mean people where still accepting Arnold as the Terminator, and he's older than Bruce.

Saw them both Hector. Both are GREAT!

However, I give the nod (just slightly) to Transformers. I expected a great Die Hard movie - and it delivered.

I wasn't expecting as much out of Transformers. I went because my kids wanted to go - and I was blown away! Great story and effects. To me, the best movie of the Summer so far.

I liked Die Hard and Die Hard 2. Didn't see Die Hard 3.
I thought there were []some[/] parts of Fantastic Four that were pretty good. Haven't seen the second one yet.
I was never into Transformers, so the idea of a semi turning into an autobot or a decepticon doesn't have much appeal to me. Why pay to see The Simpsons when I've been watching them for free for nearly twenty years?
Superbad looks like it could be a Napoleon Dynamite.

Of the Summer blockbusters I've seen thus far, I'd rate them as such:

1. Transformers
2. Fantastic Four 2
3. Spider-Man 3
4. Shrek the Third

I haven't seen Die Hard, Ratatoulie, or Pirates 3 yet. I really wanted to see Ratatoulie, but my wife and son went and saw it without me while I was working.

Super Bad looks like mindless fun. I really enjoyed Knocked Up, and this is essentially the same cast and director.

whatever guys,when you go see transformers you're expecting something fake,come on it's robots it's a kids movie.Now when you go see Die hard it's suppose to be something realistic,in the trailers the guy jumps off a moving car,which then flies up a ramp and blows up a Jet,yeah alrighty then.But don't get me wrong I love Bruce as much as the next guy,but that would'nt be the movie I'd pick if I only had $10,but hey whatever tickles your pickle right?

I saw Ratatoulie yesterday and it was pretty good,a little on the long side,but it could definitely wait for DVD,but your list sounds good so far,the only change I would do would be Shrek 3 for Knocked up

Rise of the Silver Surfer was waaaaaaaaay better than Spidey 3.

I just Left it out you know i was very disappointed with it I'm a Die hard FF fan and I expected more and mind you I saw FF twice.....but if nothing else comes out this summer I'll put it in my top ten summer movies.......

I must say that Die Hard just Freekin Rocked!!!!! saw it Three times already it saved my summer movie season lol!
