It'd be sweet if you could get an LED in there for the eye.

If anyone has heard of Brad Gorby, he is doing a custom with and LED for glowing red eyes in the custom's head.

I don't know exactly what he's doing, but it looks awesome.

Looks good so far and I too would be interested in buying one if you decide to make casts.

I'm definitely interested in buying one also! Who wouldn't want to have a Mego-style Cylon in their collection?

            Nice work!
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

If you are going to make a cast, I'll through my name into the hat, too. That sculpt is looking great.
              It's all good!

Well, actually I did that once - a 9" Briareos from the manga Appleseed based off a Maxx FX freddy body. It has a push-button activation timer in the back and the wiring ran up the interior of the neck either side of the pin that held the ball-joint in. I put a flat styrene lens on the front, and the eye would glow green for ten seconds. The whole custom was quick and dirty though for a photo shoot, I've been wanting to remake it for a while.

With something this small I'd think you'd want a fiber-optic setup or something so it was just a little pinprick light showing.

That would be epic in some Little Rascals. If he ever posts pictures online you have to share.

As far as the chain mail, I have this left-over material from doing a skeleton army. It's like andorian/wgsk fabric but darker. I'll probably use that for 70's-tasticness. When I did Silver Surfer I found this great high metallic shine swimsuit stuff that was lycra backed... so it could flex the metallic was actually tightly spaced little circles of metallic finish, which would have been perfect, but I looked through my left-overs and I seem to have ditched it. I'll be hitting up the fabric shop in the next few days in case I luck out.

Mold is done and I took the first pull tonight, should have pictures up over the weekend.

Thanks for the comments guys (and I mean that in a kids-of-today gender-neutral way, of course)

That looks simply fantastic! I'd definitely would like one of those. Now what about doing a 2 part piecce for the chest armour and the back-pack that could be attached on a regular Mego body with a black jump-suit on?

The Mego BSG project lives again!!!!!!!!!!! (some of you guys know, that I've been working on that for a long time)
