The always awesome ScottA pointed me in the direction of an ebay auction for this baby. Although I lost the auction, our pal Rudi contacted me to say he had another he was about to list, and so here you go!

I really like the packaging on this. The thin borders and circular vignettes appeal to the Mego fan in me. Since Baravelli is involved, it makes it all the more fitting!

The figure itself is just a perfect representation of the Batman Jr design.

The back is really cool, but puzzling. I'm not sure what figures they made in this line besides Superman and Batman. I passed on Supes, because they used the same arms as Batman and gave Supes white gloves(!?!). I THINK I remember seeing a Flash go over my budget years and years ago on ebay, but I'm not sure.

Anyone have any more info on these?

      Chris
      Beautiful!

You passed on the little Supes???

Wow Will, I missed seeing those Takara Star Wars figures first time around. Big congrats, that set would certainly be tough to put together, so it's great to get them all in one shot like that. I want to pick up some loose examples myself one day, especially Vader. If you ever upgrade and want to get rid of the extras, let me know.

They were all from an auction run by Vectis (Vectis Home Page - Vectis Toy Auctions
). They specialise in Toy auctions, mainly diecast and trains but every now and then they do TV related stuff. That auction which I won those goodies from was the best I've ever seen them do, my eyes popped when I saw what was on offer!

Me too! I was an under-bidder on some of the stuff Bill won, it was a feast for the senses. I picked up a Palitoy Robin so can't complain!

There was going to be a second lot from the same guy, not sure if that ever happened or not?

Not yet Will. I asked them about it at a toy fare last October, they said they have some of the next batch in but hadn't catalogued it yet. So keep your eyes peeled on the site over the next few months.

Glad you got in there eventually, let's hope there's something worth bidding on in upcoming auctions. If any decent tv related auctions come up, I'll let you know.

That's a cool Mattel Koenig, that line never seems to get a lot of love. i personally think they're pretty cool figures with great packaging.

I recently picked up a pair of AHI Monster variants:

These are the "Cupped Hand" Frankenstein and the Jointed Wrist Dracula. Both are in nice shape. Dracula is complete, but Frankenstein apparently mugged someone and stole their running shoes

Turns out I was mistaken. Apparently the cupped hand AHI figures were released with those goofy athletic shoes, since the regular shoes and boots didn't fit their bigger feet:

For anyone wondering if there are still fun items on ebay look no further:

It's genuine 70's old store stock from a former travelling salesman.

I couldn't stop smiling as I opened up thie package.

                              Cheers,
