    Tetsujin Tiger Seven

Sorry about the bad pic. I'll try to get a better image this weekend.

I tried a different technique on the boots and glove cuffs. Instread of finding the right color vinyl or pleather I bought some lamb skin and painted it so that the color would be consistant through out. Also, since it's actually leather I pulled out some old leather craft tools that I haven't touched since I was a kid and formed the raised areas rather then glueing extra material to the patterns.

The paint used was Liquitex Acrylic Artist Colors (*Student Grade) with Acrylic Gloss Medium used as a primer.

*Save some money and use the Student Grade paints. As long as your not mixing colors, the Student Grade paints will work just as well as the expensive stuff.

The image on the left is a photo taken without a flash. The image on the right was taken with a flash and then I tweaked it a bit in photoshop.

Well done, that looks really nice. I like.

No. I used a Doc Mego body with added stuff (Upper arms, hands, head & Boot feet). I'll probably use this recipe for a while. I'm not happy with Cavebody 1.0 (See my Fighting American) and have started making Cavebody 2.0

Nice job! I have a ***** of a time sewing vinyl together. I couldn't imagine leather.
Did you use that Kung Fu Panda Pez head? I was going to use that tiger one for Mr. Tawney. Nice job once again!!

The lambskin is thin enough to run a needle threw, but I like to cut backing strips and glue the boots together. That way I don't have to deal with a standing seam when I put the boots on the figure.
