I know I been tempted to take what green paint is left on a spare Corp Chrome and repaint it.

I have the Corp Chrome with the raft, oar, and TNT. I believe it was packaged with the card showing the robot on the left side. At the very end of the run. I know the back show the same figure but he was holding a machine gun with no sign of the TNT.

        Starbeanie,

Thank you for sharing! That is simply stunning, it gives me to incentive to keep hunting. I love this line, the only place I ever saw them was an independant hobby shop next to my grand parents store, where I loitered ad nauseum.

Thanks, I've been working on it about 8 years. The cards are pretty flimsy, and the clear visors for Sgt Silver(large visor) and Maj Mercury(small visor) are almost impossible to find on a loose figure.

The later cards got more generic and quality control on packaging was never great. Mine has the machine gun but no TNT just as described on the back. Even the early stuff got messed up. Notice that one of the early carded Sgt Silvers has a laser rifle instead of a tommy gun.

I used to have a large Mego collection but sold most of it off to Mark Huckabone in the 90's along with most of my Superhero Corgi's.

Mainly still collect Metal-Man(of course), SpaceWar by Arco, Jonny Quest by Galoob(have all the production stuff, and most of the unreleased, with some wax, HC's, etc) and LEGO.

Heh, I never say this but that's totally going to happen this year.

Let me know if you need any other pics for the card. I have several different dealer catalogs.

Thanks Bret, I'll let you know. I do have a lot of images to work with for a change but if you have one that you thinks works best drop me a line.

My pics tend to be more catalog proto stuff. Your references should be fine.

Thanks. I loved these when I was a kid, they fit perfectly with my Micronauts. (Of course that was the point). Time Traveler looks great in the UFO.

                          nice collection.

The NASA ship looks like the one Steve Austin crashes in at the start of SMDM.

I've always liked the lifting body design. To bad they never produced them in quantity. Though one of the space shuttle replacement designs is that concept.

Oh, sure - I got Bret to join and share his Metal Man collection but then I got swamped and couldn't find time to post any more replies.

His collection is pretty special because it contains so many rare oddities & versions that I've never seen anywhere else.

I need to twist his arm a bit - and perhaps pin it behind his back - and make him create a cool Metal Man web site ;-)
