Megomuseum News Mego of the Day: The Ewing Family

That's right, Mego of the Day is unproduced series of figures based on the television series "Dallas" if you look closely you can see that the Ewings were simply kitbashed from other toylines including Star Wars and Indiana Jones! I smell custom fodder.....

I wonder if these figures are lying around in a box somewhere. The Apes showed up so why not these.

What was Mego thinking considering making Dallas action figures ?

It's like Mego had a death-wish at this time

Would be great that one of these prototypes came to the surface. Someone has physically seen any?

The Hagmans are connected to my school through the attendance of one of their granddaughters, and each year we visit the Hagman dream home up in beautiful Ojai for our faculty retreat. It's a completely green home. It's 25,000 square feet and their electric bill is $13 a year!
I bought the MEGO Dallas Card game to play with J.R. Ewing this year. :-)

Not sure about the rest of the cast, but I'll bet if Mego had made an 8" or 12" JR figure, they would have sold like ice in August!

I wanted nothing more, as a child, than to reenact the twisting, lie-filled, adulterous plot lines of Dallas. I might even have crossed over with my "The Thorn Birds" playset.
