I finally got around to doing this bad guy. Austin influenced me to make one of these. I saw his Doc Oc in that imagination story thread.
I saw a cheap and on sale hard plastic Dr. Octopus figure that was made for some Marvel Series figures (almost bigger then Dc Direct Figures).
I removed the head and corked it on a mego head cork (sorry Richie Cunningham your head was sacraficed and it served a purpose) and glued it together with super glue.
I carefully removed the tentacles and screwed them into the back of a CTVT's fat body. I spent a bundle on a ton of CTVT cheap going out of business parts. Great to have laying around. Can't believe how fast the shipping is.
CTVT's also had a nice green body suit that fit well over the fat boy. Then I did some stitch work using a nice satin yellow fabric I used on my Hourman figure. I cut and applied a belt, collar and cuffs. Along with a pair of CTVT's yellow boots...
Here is, Dr. Octopus
