He kinda looks like a bad guy. I can totally see him pushing around subordinates. And yeah, he does look kinda Kamen-Riderish; 80's Kamen Rider. (Which isn't a bad thing at all!)

I like him. Original guys are harder for me cause they always end up looking like someone that's already been done. But this guy look pretty cool and unique. I like the "Emerald" part for a name, and he does look like an insect of some kind. Nicely done keep it up. Customs are fun.

Don is a well known archaeologist that stumbled upon a mysterious glass looking emerald beetle jewel deep inside a sealed pyramid in Egypt during an expedition.
Upon his return home, Don discovered odd powers (you decide) and a weird connection to the long hidden alien artifact with it's mysterious powers and long burried alien connection to the human world.
Taking his new powers and creating a super hero costume. Don is now the mysterious and secret hero known as, The Emerald Beetle. Using his strange new powers to help mankind while trying to learn what the alien artifact really is and was used for in ancient times...

That's cool. Makie it so his skin actually turns to a hard rock greenish texture for defense protection. Almost like a beetle shell. That would explain why he is covered from head to toe in a super hero suit.
