This is an idea I have been playing around with and working on for awhile now.
Working together with Anthony (TheToyRoom) via e-mail Anthony was able to create the great looking custom card you see here based off of the vintage AHI (Azrak/Hamway Int) Star Trek Parachuting Kirk and Spock toys from the 70's. Now after all of this time and with the help from Anthony with the card (which I feel "makes" this custom work) I was able to finally pull off this unique custom figure as it all finally came together:

    Card back:

The figure is a vintage Mego Kirk with a custom made parachute harness by me and features a real working action figure parachute taken out of a store bought parachute figure toy. This custom is complete and real in the fact that you could actually take it out of the package and play with it as it is advertised on the card.
I realize that in the "custom" dept there isn't as much in the custom area with the figure itself like with most of our other custom figures we have done, but in this case this is the way I envisioned this piece to look and I think it screams retro-vintage.
So, let me know what you think

Yup, a Trekkie through and through LOL

Anthony, it is always a pleasure working with you and so exciting when the new batch of cards from the ToyRoom arrives

Speaking of cool customs, here are a few more:

Kirk and Spock as seen in "Plato's Stepchildren:

Khan with hair down in medical attire:
