That's great, Jessica, can't wait to see it.

Wow, it's weird when worlds collide. I've worked on a couple of small animation jobs with Tom Rubalcava. We used to be at Colossal Pictures where a lot of my coworkers used to work.

Scott, that is so very cool! I know that he worked on some Gumby stop motion films. What a small world! So you must also know Dan Morgan who also used to work at Colossal!!! Small world, indeed.

And, who would have thought that I would bump into them? Tom's said that my request is a challenging one. I just can't believe my luck. I'm just so excited about getting in the goo that whenever I think about it I want to bounce off the walls.

And here is my brown underdress! I consider it done with the exception of the neckwrap, which is just my sweater that I'm going to sacrifice. I will also add the dark brown strings on the neckwrap.

Holy crap. I just got a phone call from Cornelius. I may have to go it alone at Wondercon......noooooooooooooo!!!! He can't promise he will be there--too busy. He will try but he can't promise. OMG!!!! SCARY!!!!!

And...I have to go back under the goop this Sunday because the first time they used alginate that may have not been fresh enough. The mold came out too lumpy and they were not happy with the results. Getting under the goop is not a big deal...getting to the event in costume by myself....SCARY!! I have an appointment to get a lifemold at 9AM, but I cant' leave until the cast has cured and they are happy with the cast. If necessary, I may have to regoop. Wondering if I'm going to have to stay in the bald cap the whole time? *sigh* What price, beauty?

I'm not sure if my sister will be available to be my handler. I'll see...Definitely not something up my husband's alley.

You will be able to act just like Zira, A little shy around the crowds!

    Good luck.

Just splurged on the makeup/pros-aide/remover/lace beards/grease makeup/latex/tooth black, etc. for that one day. Ouch. I'm bleeding money left and right here...

The makeup crew have gone MIA again. Cornelius has flaked out on my future date...but I am moving forward. The Apemania appliance really fits my face already so I may go that route if the makeup crew doesn't get their act together. Only 3 more solid weekends to work on my costume.

Wow. This is just like getting ready for a wedding! BrideZira...maybe?

Zira is far from shy in crowds... She is nothing if not outspoken... Her big mouth was just what the BAWC needed at their meeting in ESCAPE...

The hair pieces are slowly trickling in from wherever I have ordered them from. They are lace hair human beards. I will need to augment to them to make them look more "natural" and not like a beard...but I will do this! Three more weekends to get this accomplished. It's crunch time.
