Carded Zaius for $36, good deal??

I should be getting this guy in a couple days. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300122146580
It was partially opened and looks pretty good, is $36 a good deal??
I got two more figures Urko and Ursus with their cards and bubbles from the same buyer.

Yeah, There appears to be quit a bit of orange paper removed from the back of the bubble area. I'll proably end up recarding him on a repro card.

  4. $36 for a loose Zaius is not a good deal.

What's a bubble worth, $2? The card is worthless.

It's all relative IMO, it's about $10 more than what a loose Zauis goes for and it has original packaging. I think it's ok for what it is.

I tried bidding on an Ursus in similiar shape over the weekend but it went too high for my blood.

Were you the one who bid on this Ursus and Urko over the weekend??? The same bidder jacked the price up right near the end on each and I almost flipped.

Because the bidder almost got it as my high bid for each were $65.

    Why? Curious, Please explain.

Looking at ebay auctions past and present for loose ones suggest they go for around $20-40 loose much less with the card and bubble present.

$36 didn't seem too bad to me, it's not like I got hosed.

Actually I had snipes set but the bidding got too fierce, so technically I never bid. I wasn't going past $50 on Ursus.
