By the way, the apes have hairy hands as does the Mugato.

You're not kidding - considering that his hands are covered by the gloves - I was a little surprised that my guy in China was willing to cast the hands separately and substitute
the hairy hand for the regular hand in assembly.

I found out that he is a big fan of POTA and remembers when Mego was making them
in Hong Kong.

My new Soldier Ape's gloves look the same as vintage Mego Soldier Ape's gloves. The round gloves seen on the back of card is prototype.

I'll take pic close up by this afternoon and post here for you to see the new gloves.
