New project...Fire Genasi. Nothing really to copy so I'm just making him up from scratch. He's not for me to keep but he's been fun to make. He's far from being done though.

Don't know who that is, but I really like it, love the way you tackled the hair. Is that glue?

Yes, Thomas, hair is glue. I'm going to be painting it soon, but after I smooth out his paint job. I don't know who the heck it is either. Your guess is as good as mine. I guess it's some kind of Dungeons and Dragons character? Not really sure--it's definitely out of my realm.

Wow. I have to say that idea about using the hot glue as the hair is pretty darn cool. Also, not quite sure exactly what you asking regarding the mineral spirits, Jessica, but I use TURPENOID to smooth out my sculpey pieces. You can get it at any art store. It comes in a blue and white can. Works great! I've been using it for years.

Pardon the bad makeup...he's still being worked on. Today was all about hair styling!! The goal is to make it look like his hair is flaming.
