It's been awhile since I sculpted. I wanted to do something easy, like paint up my Sideshow Zira and get rid of her lipstick. I really messed up her paint job, so I decided to remove it with nailpolish remover and accidentally took off more than I wanted.




But I still couldn't get in the mood to paint her well because her hair still bothered me. There was something just off with it, so I decided to give her a haircut and restyle it, so that it was more movie-accurate:


When I paint her up, I will remove the fullness of her cheeks, too. She's going to look spectacular. I can tell already!!

NICE!!! I really like the way you've redone the hair. It IS way more accurate. Another masterpiece is on it's way!

I couldn't wait to paint her up because I've been studying her face for so long...Darn camera! It keeps taking worse and worse photos. Grrr...

Tomorrow after I finish adding a pocket to my outfit (still have to research how to do--since can't remember how), I am going to put some more paint on her and also take a photo in natural light. Matt Falls really did a spectacular sculpt on her face.

Thanks, guys! What a difference painting makes. Here's a comparison shot before and after. Sometimes it's hard to imagine how much better something could look when it's not painted...See what an improvement overall by removing the fullness of her cheeks?
