I hate the fact that some sellers and buyers decide to cancel auctions and take away everyones chance at a piece.

There was recently 3 carded Wonder Woman fashions up on ebay, which come up very rarely and all were canceled. The seller told me they decided to sell them to a friend. Hmmm why not do that in the first place then? I was drooling but when canceled was not surprised at all.

In other collector circles people who get auctions canceled are treated like traitors to the rest of the toy collecting community who wanted a shot at a rare piece. It seems like its accept here and it continues.

I wonder what the seller got for the Riddler and the carded WW fashions and if they would have done better if the auctions had run their time til the end of the auctions.

I've seen this happen a lot on ebay with mego items.Remember like 2 months ago someone listed a Kresge Supergirl in flawless condition that she found in her Grandma's attic? well she had canceled the auction to sell it to someone on ebay.I know the name has been mentioned here so I won't say it incase he's a member here, but the person told me he offered her $300 she said yes,but then other people started to write and I told her not to do it since I was the high bidder to begin with, then the guy offers $500,she asks me and I tell her to say no.Just let it the auction run,I know I wasn't gonna win it,but neither was this prick. It ended for $2500+ and I got a big *** thank you from her,who really needed the money

toys2cool, that's a great little story! Glad at least that one didn't go cheap to someone who wants to cheat the rest of us out of our chance to win it.

It's also the fault of these sellers too for not looking into why someone is so willing to dish out the cash so fast....

I agree Jemboy, but remember most people don't really know what this stuff is worth, and what were the chances that he was going to find a Carded Super Girl On ebay to compare? No less a Kresge carded one.So when they're in need of money and some yahoo offers them $500 for a toy, chances are you're gonna bite
