I have to admit that I never owned a single Weeble in my life. I have no idea why my parents denied me these toys. Or maybe I was slightly too old? When did Weebles first come out? I definitely remember playing with them at other kids' houses, but maybe it was something that a friend's younger brother or sister had.

I just googles it, they have been around since 1971. I didn't know this, I thought they were after my time as well, I was born in 68.

1971? That's older than I was guessing too. I was born at the end of '67, so I guess they weren't really before my time then. I wonder why I never got any of these. My parents didn't love me enough, perhaps?

Whoa, that's a sweet deal, nice pickup

I was both a Weebles and Fisher Price kid. The Weebles Haunted House is one of my favorite toys of all time!

I think I had Sesame Street Weebles as well but don't recall for certain.

Many folks will probably think this is akin to blasphemy, but last year I made a necklace and earrings set out of race track Weebles. Weebles number 1 & 2 became earrings and Weeble number 4 became a great necklace. In my defense, I used slightly cracked Weebles that came from my cousin's stash of childhood toys. I have never had so many comments about a piece of jewelry until I wore Weebles.

Even hollowed out, were they a bit heavy for your ear lobes?

Not too bad. I wouldn't want to wear them while jogging, though. But trust me when I say that FP Little People are too heavy for earrings.
