Help. Can you identify my Mego 12 1/2" Doll?

Hi all

Im just sorting through my vast Sindy and other dolls collection and I came across a 12 1/2" mego female doll. I have tried to find out what it is. Its body shape , height and date of manufacture place it as a c1975 Celebrity doll but I haven't found any text or visual reference to this doll. She has long straight blonde hair that comes down to her bum, blue eyes, huge 3D lashes and a lovely big toothy smile. Does anyone know who she is please????

I'm thinking you might have either Farrah Fawcett or Suzanne Somers (Chrissy). One was 1977 and the other 1978, however it's not unheard of to have newer dolls stamped with older copyright dates.

Can't say for sure without seeing a pic.

My advice is to check out the Mego Museum catalog archives and see if anything looks familiar if these two are not it.

Hiya, thanks for the quick reply. I have looked at both of these doll and she doesn't look like either. Her hair is dead straight and her facial features are different but her body is the same. Is there a place I can upload pics? Or can I email them to you to have a look?

Nope, no markings on the head. It's puzzling me, Ive checked the dolls people have suggested and tried to find dolls of the TV stars suggested but no luck. Could it be poss she may a European Mego doll as i am in the UK???
