I have no idea how I haven't spotted this thread 'til now.
I have a photo of myself & my parents standing under the tree, and I'm holding Tonto in one hand, and the Lone Ranger in the other. That was a great Xmas!
Will see if I can dig it up, I think it was Xmas 1975.

Only one I have found so far is from the early 60's!
Too many toys. Not enough space!

This is my first post here. I found this site when I was looking for classic toys on the 'net and was thrilled to find a forum. Too cool!

Anyway, here's a pic of me in the late 70's..I believe it is '78 but not 100% sure. I'm here with two of my favorite toys of all time - the X-Wing and Godzilla. I can not tell you how many characters from various toy / comic lines Godzilla killed.

Another reason I'm glad I found this site is to identify the other toy / action figure picture here. It was a 12 inch figure much like G.I. Joe and came with that orange vehicle. The vehicle was a VTOL plane, or a car and seems like it had pontoons to float on water. Anyone recognize it?

I'll have more to come. Sad to say there may not be many Megos there. I had a few, but not a whole lot.

I'm 6 months late in saying nice pics Mike, but nice pics. Those stretch monsters had some heft to them when your only 3-4 years old eh?

Wish I still had photos of myself from that era. My aunt or cousin might. I'll get ahold of them and see if they do.

Those Godzillas were really popular back then.

Christmas 1974, I got my first Star Trek item - the Enterprise model kit!

Photo was taken from an 8mm film reel, so it's not the sharpest.
