With two days to go till the deadline for pre-ordering these chairs... how many are we at now?

Remember that the new Enterprise playset will only come with the "bar stools" just like the original, so Scott's chairs will look much better and will keep your figures from falling off.

I pre-ordered 200 of them - who doesn't have $25 for 5 chairs? If everyone who went
to Mego Meet orders two chairs, Scott should be able to meet the minimum.

I'm certainly stepping up as well, but I can't float too much myself given what I've already put into the displays themselves.

I still need 200 more chair sales to make it reality. I know that when you are choosing between a whole new figure and a playset or accessory the figure usually wins out, but this sure seems like a useful thing to have around...That's 40 sets of 5 chairs...kind of a long shot?

I've been reconsidering the blue color choice---I'm thinking it makes more sense to match the blue to the original Mego bridge furniture so they will fit in with vintage sets. I was going to go with the color of the HOJ table, but this makes more sense to me.

For the black ones I think it'd be cool to make a blue sticker with the 3 triangle shapes to put on the back of the chair so you can make the chair look even more like the TOS version. See below...

JediJaida, if you wait-we all lose. Buy now and put them in storage for future use. If Scott doesn't meet his quota NONE will get made. Seems to make sense to me for anyone on the fence to buy some now even if you can't display them at this time.

Update---Counting last night's orders and the people that have committed but not yet paid we've got just 20 sets to go! I've emailed some Trek people I haven't seen at the Museum in a awhile trying to beat the bushes.
