    Jessica,
I can't thank you enough for showing me the way to this message board.

I would like everyone to know this - and give Jessica a big THANK YOU. Without her suggestion I would not have even known about this board, and its friendly members!

    - Scott B.

Ok those prices are killing me. How on earth did you have the forsight to collect these? They would have seemed so trivial to me at the time, even though they are so cool to look at now. Back then I did intend to keep my figures for ever, along with my Star Wars guys, but like many of us, it never occured to me to keep the clippings or boxes.

Wow! Awesome clippings! I'm originally from NYC, (158th between Amsterdam and Broadway), and we used to shop at Alexanders! I wasn't into the Apes as a kid ('cos I was into dolls), but if I was, I bet Mom would have gotten them from Alexanders! Thanks for sharing!

Okay, those clippings are astonishing. It's like you were working on the Mego Museum Library 35 years early! Those ads for the in-store appearances are so exciting to see!

By the way, I am moving this thread into the Mego Buzz section. It's buzzin'!

Well, as I posted previous the one pic of clippings was only a sampling - here are more.

Since you all liked the address label from the Ape suit box. (BTW - that Ape suit shipping box died. I went to pick it up to store it again the bottom just opened completely. When I went to pick it up it just came apart from one of the corners.

Here's another from a mailing they set to me from the newer office.
