Time after time was really good. I also might be in the minority but the story of "A sound of Thunder" was great and the movie was very good (minus the special effects). Timecop was also entertaining. Of course the best was the first time machine.

Honorable mention- I liked somewhere in time with Chris Reeves.

One that I didn't see mentioned was "Frequency". I thought it was a really good movie. Not really a "time machine" per say, but it does link two different time periods.

Another I liked was "Bast From the Past". It also is no a "time machine" movie, but it deals with someone thrusted into modern times.

Plus only one person mentioned "Time Bandits"!!! This was a great movie!!!!

Sure there was a time machine, in this instance it was a HAM radio. It just didn't involve time TRAVEL.

And as for "Time Bandits", I really like David Rappaport (Randall, the leader) in it (also the best thing about "The Bride"). He had some acting chops.

          Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Back to the Future (first one)
The Time Machine (with Rod Taylor)

And here's one you may not remember from TV:
          IT'S ABOUT TIME
A 1960S comedy that ran about one season, featuring two astronauts sent back to caveman days. Later they reversed it and brought the cave family back to the 1960s.
          Great theme song!

You see, this is what I get when I do searches. Threads I missed that interest me. I love any movie that deals with time travel.

Of all, I'd have to say a major favorite of mine is The Butterfly Effect!

There are too many for me to consider so I'll just go with my favorite, the first time machine film I saw called uh...The Time Machine.

How come nobody's mention ST: First Contact??? The Borg and the Enterprise both go back in time. That is probably my favorite TNG movie!

Well, I posted earlier on this but thought of two more good ones. First, a made-for-tv movie called "For All Time" was really, really good (if not a bit derivative). Not on DVD as far as I know. I need a copy! Another obscure one is "The House in the Square" with Tyrone Power no less. Check them out!
