Question Does anybody post to Japan?

I'm just wondering if anybody has any experience of posting items to Japan, good or bad, go for it or avoid?

    Cheers. Paul.

  2. ive sent to japan from uk many times, and as it goes the very last item i sent, a rare japan imported pokemon toy just so happened to go missing, i have no doubt the folks had recieved it.

so yeah ive sent hundreds of items there, sadly you do get situations, as i said the very last item went awol

but id send again there for sure, ive had more untrustworthy folks in uk than anywhere else!

    Hmmmm....

What are you sending? I order stuff from Japan all the time and have never had any problems. Only odd bit: they can't really cash foreign money orders or cheques there. Takes a bout 3 to 6 MONTHS to clear, and there are always huge fees.

Just a Mego. I usually only send to Europe, N America, Canada and Australia but I have had a request to send to Japan so was looking for a `thumbs up`.

I buy from Japan frequently, and I've always been very satisfied.
To be honest, I've only had disputes with three sellers over the course of six years, all from...the UK.
    Sad but true.
Luckily, I now have British friends on this forum, who will handle all my business, from now on....

I have shipped to Japan in the past with no problems. Just be sure to insure the item & if you can, get a Delivery Confirmation.
