Hmmm... I think you saw glove tops and colored hands on the standard IMB arms... Unless Jason is making stuff I don't know about

Any chance of a build a hero option where a customer can get a body, the hands and boots they want in a package deal? I know I want the optional hands instead of the mego-esque ones.

Definitely! I am working on it now... it may be just a Museum Special for now. We don't have a lot of stock, and we hope to have our big shipment in before this one runs out

Are the gripping hands standard issue on the body? It's hard to tell from the pic if they are one and the same.

And I'm curious as to whether or not RIT would work on the white items for color options

Standard Hands are replicas of LJN/Rainfall Bible hands in softer rubbery vinyl. The Gripper hands completely new, these were designed by Charlee Flatt and first used on the Flattworld Phantom ( with out the rings).

I haven't tried Rit, but I feel pretty confident it'd work like a champ like our previous boots did. The Vinyl paint I spoke of earlier is the very easy to use and it actually soaks into the stuff! It's permanent and easy to use!

I plan to wait as well.

I am going to be ordering some female bodies from DocMego, when he gets them in (hopefully before Sept. or Oct.!), some heads from said Doc, and assorted stuff from Castaway.

I have a pirate custom idea in mind, and the pirate style boots would be perfect.

Some Rit dye, a little bit of flocking to mimic suede, a little bit of judiciously applied distressing to mimic age.

A Bruce head (or whichever), some pirate-y type clothes. Oh yeah, I can see it now.
