    The Mego Years

And Star Wars years too. Found these old photos of Christmas and Birthdays. My mom always made me a cake of whatever I wanted. In this picture, I remember wanting a Planet of the Apes cake but getting a Goofy cake. You can see the disappointment on my face (I rebelled and put on my Planet of the Apes shirt)...

For my 12th (1978) I was all about Star Wars. I think there is a carded Spiderman (or another Mego) in one of those packages....

And Christmas 1978 - the Star Wars lightsaber!!!

Awesome stuff Derek, my mom was really cool about cakes as well, I should dig out the pics. She even made me a Grover cake that involved her turning a mess of coconut blue.

I love the Apes shirt BTW, that is ridicously cool.

I had that lightsabre - way too much fun beating my cousin with it until it broke.

That is way cool Derek. Put me in the envious list. I have a few Christmas/birthday photos, but not many.

My mom always made me cool cakes. Batman, MOTU you name it. Moms are cool.

Very cool Derek, it's almost shame to eat that Star Wars cake. Almost, but I would've done it anyway

OK I guess it's time to ask a stupid question.
    Where are the pictures??
I read a lot of threads mentioning pics and usually there are none and I see no links so....?
Is there some secret trick that I (being new) am unaware of to see all these amazing pics or is everyone just humoring people?
    "Yes, great pics"
whispers: "guy is crazy, there's no pics"

Sometimes when I am at work I cannot see the pictures, but from home I can.
