This is just a painful reminder of what Mego passed on in 1977 and what probably would have kept them a household name to this day. Oh well...But $100.00 for a brand new figure? Insane. Hey alot of people were complaining about some of the Signature Series figures being $20.00, so I can't imagine any collector paying five times that for a over produced movie line. Insane...

i don't know if or when I'll ever buy these---but I loves Star Wars,
and, well, if I ever do buy 'em the price seems right to me
My view has always been that if a figures is made well...$100 is usually
my kinda price, custom or otherwise----of course there are exceptions
----always things to consider, but $100 looks about right for these beauties
at first glance"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

Hey---make a die cast Indiana Jones with this detailing at this price and I'll go $150"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. I'm so sick and tired of the "new in the market" Star Wars toys (not vintage stuff though), George Lucas is a bloody leechin' thief, he robbed me of 7 hours of my life going through his new trilogy garbage (I know, my own fault), I can't stand his new movies, I hope the new trilogy original prints burn in Hades for eternity. (I will always love the original trilogy though).
Nope, I no longer buy his new toys.sigpicComment

It's funny Hector (and all) as much as I rally behind new toys based on old
Star Wars movies, and silver/bronze age superheroes and other stuff--
-I can't say that I ever actually buy the stuff
Over 90% of toys that I've bought in the last 10 years have been vintage
(or customs based on vintage toys).
Never really thought much about that til I saw Hectors post, right after I
posted in the DCD Robin 13" thread"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive.
