    New 8" Scale Star Wars

It was bound to happen sooner or later - 8" Scale Star Wars (although they are metal). They have 20 points of articulation and a $99.99 price tag. Preorder through Starwarsshop.com. I'm gonna need a bigger credit card.

For a die-cast figure from Japan that's not all that bad. What was the Medicom Vader? $200+? They are going to be a little under scale for Megos it looks like. Still...nice.

If those are actual production figures, then that price isn't too bad for a Japanese import. The detial is more impressive than the similarly priced Medicom Marvel Super Heroes, who look a tad cartoony to me. Sure these are smaller, but the detail on that Boba Fett is NUTS.

But then again, I don't collect Star Wars, so I'm not going to buy them anyway.

I don't collect star wars but i'd have to get the Boba Fett, i've always liked that character and the figure looks really cool.

$100 doesn't seem all that bad when you consider the cost of some custom figures and original Mego's too.

Wow, I'm even more shocked that you guys think that price is right
Come on, $100 for an 8" figure... this ain't vintage you know

I'm not a Star Wars collector, but even if I was I wouldn't pay this... so what if it's Japanese import... it doesn't cost $100 to import these... These are imported in such a large number the costs are probably nothing anyway...
