I changed the url and eliminated passwords.

It is not password protected from viewing.

If you are asked for a pssword, enter your user name and pass - I had to log in to view the gallery.

hmm - i am trying to figure out the new gallery. it isn't as simple as the previous one.

when it asked about being password protected - i figured that was for changes/deletions.
