    I've had a few of these over the years, still have Batman & Robin. I really don't have anywhere to display them properly though, so I've never gone after them. Some of them get pretty pricey as well. I see the Looney Tunes ones a lot at auction & flea markets around here , so maybe the DC glasses weren't distributed out to this half of Pennsylvania as well as Bugs & pals were.

    If anyone is looking for the 1976 series, you might want to check out, What a Character! -- Home Page. They sell them. The prices vary, but I think they have them all.

    HI Rockie74! I wouldn't worry about them having lead in them as that new law shouldn't effect pre-existing items such as glasses. I really can't say for certan if they had lead in the paint of not though.
    I've been collecting character glasses longer than I have Megos. I guess as far back as the mid-80s.
    They are hard to display only that they take up so much room! I've been displaying some of mine for over 10 years and haven't lost one yet (keeping my fingers crossed).

    Ok kool thanks. yea i'm keeping 1 set for my self (Superman, Batgirl, Batman, Wonder Women, Flash, Green lantern, Shazam, Aquaman,) and been check around for the others. would be nice to have. spotted the "The Joker" glass around for $9 to $60 tho, could get pricey, but having something from my childhood would be worth it.

    The Joker glass should run around $20-$25. Usually the most expensive one in the set is Green Lantern. These are the moon series I think you're talking about (has different color moons behind the hero) Then there's the non-moon DC series which consists of 7 glasses. Collecting these is great fun so be sure to enjoy yourself and not get too caught up in getting them all right away.

    Yea, there on ebay right now. Green lantern i got 3 of those .
    i found:

    3 - Batman,Wonder Women,Flash,Green latern, Shazam, Aquaman

    2 - Superman,Batgirl

    and did more cleaning in the pole barn and found others glasses too. i might have my late bills paid of before Xmas.
