My first AJ was a type one. I didn't see a snap-together body until the '90s.
Not me. My collection started with Dr.McCoy and Green Arrow.

I don't think I ever had an Action Jackson (as a child) -- but I found a superman wearing an AJ jumpsuit in my attic (so go figure).

Nope, I'm afraid not. I had 2 black AJs, one at age 5, (in '71) and one at age 6,(in '72) before the POTA figs came out, so they had regular hands.

Most likely I did, AJ was always around.
