Can anyone help me?

I mentioned a comic book in the first comics thread and I'd really like to find it, since I liked that Spy Story so much. It was a speical Action comics book that I got from being on Wonderama in the 70s. It was a tall book (kinda like a giant coloring book), it had a silver border, and on the front I think it had that black classic Batman on the cover w/ the title being something about The Bat-Man. No Robin. I think it was an origin story. There were other stories featured in it.

Does anyone know what the heck I'm talking about?

It sounds like Famous First Edition #C-28, which reprinted Detective Comics #27, the first appearance of "The Bat-Man". It also had stories featuring Speed Saunders, Crimson Avenger, Fu Manchu, Slam Bradley and Cosmo...one of those may have been the "spy story". The outer cover had metallic silver ink.
