It's CRAZY smokey here

The North East Pennsylvania skies are a weird pastel haze orange color ... Almost like being lit from an old fashioned yellow light bulb.

If it wasn't for gasping for air/coughing and teary-eyed i'd say the whole unique situation was quite beautiful.

yeah, here in NY as well. Wild fires in Quebec. I hope they can get it under control before people get hurt

Yeah I saw the Yankees-White Sox highlights last night.
Should probably be postponed today till things clear up.

Western New York has been getting the fallout too and it was particularly bad today. I went back to wearing a mask to block out the heavy, smokey smell that hits like a ton of bricks as soon as you go outside.

Yeah, we're in the middle of it. Today was windy, so that was good.

My apartments air conditioning has been EXTRA good filtering out the smoke and gunk (kudos to them apartment keepers) ...

Yeah, they closed some of the schools here in NY today. The mid-afternoon lighting here yesterday was pretty dam eerie.
