I ran into this on Youtube before seeing this post, so I was pleasantly surprised to see something I hadn't seen in a long time. I never got the apes back in the day, but I still recall thinking the commercials were majorly cool. I'm glad to see this stuff being preserved.

Even more clear than they would've been back on Ch.29 in Philly!

Kid me loved seeing and hearing them so clearly. Adult me gulped when I saw the dirt that I know was there after the astronaut slid down the hill.

Am I the only person who wants a 24 hr cable channel of old commercials? Like an hour block of of 60s McDonalds ads or two hours of All 70s toys and it just runs with that all day like the Decades channel did. Some local and regional commercials like Crazy Eddie and the Wiz and Federated.
