Thread: Any 14" Nu-Mego fans?

!4" is starting to look like a weird choice for a figure. 12" would have been better, especially since they were made that way in the 70's.

I seem to remember reading that was a mandate from Warner Bros licensing. Perhaps to avoid duplicating the 12-inch products they already approved for other companies. Modern licensing sounds complicated!

14” seems like a great visual choice for a collector but a terrible choice to play with for a kid. I remember the AT feeling huge as we played with them and the few vehicles we had were almost lethally big especially the spinning blades on the helicopter.

I bought 2 Luthors a few weeks back on Walmart because they were on sale cheaper than 8 Inch figures. I got them to turn into Colossus Man for a future Svengoolie theater.

I think the last wave of them was pretty great but I really don't need another thing. They are great value though and I did buy the Dracula.

That’s a great idea, I’d like to see how you put together, the War of the Colossal Beast.

I got all the Batman related ones in the original 14" run, Bronze Age Batman being my favorite, followed by the SDCC All Black Variant.
Of the new 14" I got only Batman and Captain Marvel, and of those the quality dipped in certain areas and I noted them in my online review.

Although I would have loved to see a 14" Robin and 14" Riddler, looks like both will never get made. For what they all were, they were a nice addition..
as a kid, aside from 12" Superman, I never had any other non 8" megos.

I have a about a handful of the super hero figures and the three Universal Monsters. I'd like to see them carry on with them down the line, especially would love a few more monsters.

I still love these two and wish the 14" would continue:

I like them and hope for them to continue somehow. I wish they made their 14" Zod into an 8" as well. Wish they had made KISS and Ultraman.
