Hi. I just wanted to mention that Coachella is streaming acts from 6 or 7 different stages this weekend and next on YouTube. I'm not a fan of DJs or techno-pop, but there's enough variety that I can always find something worth a listen. Right now I have on Diljit Dosanjh, an Indian actor & singer with some catchy tunes. Earlier I really enjoyed the set by TV Girl, an indy pop band that would go great with a beer. Last year I discovered Orville Peck (whose hit became a car commercial), Koffee (early 20s girl doing reggae with a beautiful voice), and Arlo Parks (young British woman crossing genres with a rich voice). I felt a little overwhelmed last night when faced with so many listening options, but it really wasn't hard to sample acts and move on.

I used to attend this back when they first started, between this and the White Party Palm Springs they were part of my gay upbringing.
I wish I could go but co-parenting and taking care of my parents is taking too much of my spare time. I may look up some of the footage from youtube.Visit my wiki site:

Well, it’s manufactured music for sure, but stil love the “visuals” if you know what I mean…
Having said that, AC/DC is not exactly dance music. How about some classic Motown instead?Last edited by Hector; Apr 30, '23, 1:18 AM.sigpicComment
