    Alex Ross paints Mego's Catwoman

Okay, that Catwoman design was from the comics, not created by Mego, but everyone now refers to that look as either "pirate Catwoman", or "Mego Catwoman".

This is a gorgeous new print Ross has created, showcasing 70s Bat-rogues, including some really obscure ones, like a personal fav, vampire Gustav DeCobra, who artist Mike Grell modelled after Christopher Lee!

To be fair, that's Mod Catwoman (a bit off-model), but in company with my faves The Spook, Capt. Stingaree, and Dr. Phosphorus, what's not to like? He's given her the Mego vibe.

      Thanks for sharing!

Just noticed Sterling Silversmith, this is fun...

Love this! There is so much of the earliest Batman comics I remember depicted here!

That's great. Closest thing I have seen to artwork that I saw on Artist Row back at 2003 Chicago Wizard World. No one could name all of the villains. I wish I could have afforded it at the time, so I may have to get this as my "pretty good" consolation prize.
