Watching the Kolchak Mr Ring episode and thinking how much like the Fembot episodes from the Bionic series he was. Kind of fun to think of them in a shared universe.

Same studio, could be a great blend. It's the type of thing Moonstone comics could do.
Who could be a modern Austin? I read some suggestion of Bob Odenkirk as Kolchak, and now I can't unsee it.Last edited by PNGwynne; Mar 19, '23, 9:38 AM.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Bob would work. For Steve I would have said John Hamm ten years ago. I think he would be a better Oscar now. David Krumholtz aka Bernard the Elf and Charlie Epps as Dr Rudy Wells. Would it be too weird for Ray Fisher to play Steve? I thought he was great as Cyborg in JL and I am somewhat amused by the whole meta tie in. I know some people have issues with switching races around but here it really does not matter what race Steve is. An astronaut and Air Force colonel, moon mission veteran, test pilot and finally a man barely alive. Cavill works well here also. Ray can play Barney Hiller.Comment

Ben Browder would have been a great Steve Austin, but he’s likely aged out of that role by now. Just like Adrian Paul would have been a great James Bond.Comment
