Netflix Mego Minix (found at Walmart)

While at Walmart today I saw 3 of the new Stranger Things Minix in the Netflix section

The only ones I would be tempted to pick up would be Mike & Will.

Now if I saw Wednesday I would have gotten them. So who here is going to collect these?

Those are really nice looking. They capture the characters better than most "super-deformed" type figures. I probably won't collect many myself, but I can see these being big gift buys around holidays, etc. My daughter would probably buy some of these for her friends, for instance.

I hadn't noticed the price before! If you can sell these at $20 a pop, it certainly seems like an easier way to make money than selling 8" figures for roughly the same price.

Unfortunately, I doubt they're going to move many of these at that price tag.

Of these three, I think Eleven looks great, Dustin looks kinda derpy but not terrible and Hopper just seems off overall and doesn't strike me as something that if you saw it on the desk without any other Stranger Things elements, you'd know who it was.

I think I'd pick these up if I saw them in the wild, but there's not enough a draw that I'll go out of my way to order them online. I'll just wait 30 years when the Mego completist bug kicks in and pick them up for $50 a pop.
