    RIP Lance Kerwin

Lance, who was a teenage heartthrob in the mid 70's to early 80's, was best known for playing a vampire hunter in Tobe Hooper's original classic horror mini-series "Salem's Lot." He was terrific alongside David Soul! To this day, "Salem's Lot" is still considered some of the scariest makeup ever for the lead monster. He later became a children's youth pastor in California and Hawaii. Lance was 62.

    Bummer.
‘salem’s Lot is one of my favorite Stephen King adaptations, he was so great in the part of Mark Petrie.
Also remember him from James at 15/16 and the TV film “The Loneliest Runner”.
    RIP

Love Salem's Lot and freaked the heck out of me as a kid. I remember watching the “The Loneliest Runner” as well. That was an excellent story, and pretty terrifying in it's own right. 62 is too young. Rest in Peace

Lance was in Shazam, Wonder Woman and Bionic Woman.
I heard he wasn't shy about talking about his acting roles. Very sad 62 isn't as old as some people think.

and he was in afterschool special, The Boy Who Drank Too Much. He was instantly recognizable being in so many TV projects when I was a kid.

    RIP James at 15!

He was a solid actor, and you can't say that for all kid/teen actors. He always seemed real no matter what he was in. RIP, and very sad he died pretty young.

I agree with everyone here. I enjoyed his roles, especially Salem's Lot, which I truly love.

I also agree, 62 isn't old, I think we are all marching that direction....
