    Mr. Spock 1978?

Found a photo from what I thought was Christmas ‘78 of me with a brand new Mr. Spock and wondered if that’s possible since the line ended in 77.

Old inventory hung around for a long time, also Mego brought back Kirk, Spock and Klingon for the Sears Catalog.

Star Trek mego’s were still on the pegs in 79, I remember going into Child World and buying some it was the end of the run, the character names were in green print.

I don’t remember seeing any of the aliens at that time, just the Klingon.

Am I misremembering that they put Kirk, Spock, and The Klingon out when "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" was released (the cards having the backs blackened out...)?

In 1978 Sears released Kirk, Spock and Klingon on card backs that were just all white on the back, sometimes the figure came with a broken knee pin and the insignia’s were heat sealed.
