    Textbook Narcissist

Playing around with my new lightbox and my sprytoy Textbook Narcissist head.

And here is a sneak preview of the newest suit for him...

This is just a prototype. The armor parts are a mixture of a few different types of resin and the paint job is slapdash. But I'm encouraged that the "armor over cloth bodysuit" concept will work at this scale.

Wow, just Wow! This is a great figure and a great concept idea. I like that the Iron Man suit fits over the figures clothing. Very Nice.

Thanks! The armor has been challenging. After experimenting with flexible resin, I am now testing using tiny magnets to hold the armor pieces together. It should make it actually something he can take on and off. Hopefully I will have more to share soon.

Thanks Vin! Yes, I'm really happy with the light box. I'm still using my phone's camera, but the pictures still look way better!

I know some people are embarrassed by the "doll" association with Mego, but to me that is the charm of a cloth figure. I love that you could change Action Jackson's outfit. I love the Secret Identity costumes for WGSH. Dressing them up is just a fun way to play with them, and part of the reason I think I have been drawn to customizing. Even for the figures I never change, I really love knowing that I could... if I wanted to.
