    Since Sgt. Fury always had stubble, I like the one on the right, but I wish he didn't have "teeth" like the one in the middle. I never understood the one with mustache only.

    I think I like the bearded one the best. I just went to check to see which one I have on the figure and it was the bearded one.

    I agree about the paint in the mouth, it's distracting. Why Ideal decided that was a good idea is hard to say.

    I'm torn, I think I'd like the painted stubble if it was a wash or airbrushed. I love CA sculpts but not the paints.

    I've seem some impressive custom paints, and they really make the figures *pop*.

    I agree, the sculpts are pretty good, both the masks and the gear, but the paint is toy grade, which makes sense. Although Hasbro must have been using way better factories than Ideal was.

    Yes, Joe would be my base of comparison, too. And doesn't CA have more painting by hand than GIJ?

    I think Hasbro had paint masks for theirs heads etc. These masks most likely didn't lend themselves well to that and probably was all hand painted. <<< guesses of course
