Another fantastic custom, although I’m not familiar with this particular incarnation of th character. I’m fairly new to the board, so I apologize if this has already been covered, but do you have an online gallery anywhere?

Okay, now I know I’m getting old. I had that book as a kid.

It looks like a very well done re-root job to me...

The eyebrows look touched up too.

My version of a re-root is to plop the hair on the head and sew a big part in the appropriate place, then dab a little super glue with a toothpick along the part and under it to secure everything in place. The challenge here was to straighten the hair (all my available doll hair is curly), so that took some heating and brushing. Can't paint even eyebrows, so those are cut out from black Contact adhesive and glued in place after taking the original eyebrows off with Testor's liquid cement. Then a toothpick with some lighter blue paint on the tip re-colored the eyes.

Cool waiting on the inevitable group shot when you get done.

Well, however you're doing it, her hair looks great.

Your way of doing it sounds like a great tip. I may try it someday, since I've never attempted a re-root.
