    The 15th Doctor's Outfit

I wish the shirt had a collar. Otherwise, I've seen worse.

          And his companion, Ruby Sunday.
She almost seems like a fusion of Rose and Clara...

A little bit, not quite as downbeat as Eccleston, but missing something. As someone who did not like Whittaker's ensemble, I'll take the tone down.

When he was announced as the Doctor, the news used this picture and for a brief moment, I thought he'd look like that. Not a good feeling.

the new companion looks like a teenager. i will be interested in seeing what they do with this doctor. i gave up a few episodes into Whittaker's run, just didn't like her. but this has me interested enough to give it a shot

As a casual Who fan who dropped out midway through Capaldi's run (mostly to losing BBC America on DISH), when does the new Doctor's tenure begin?

Three specials starring David Tennant as the Doctor will air in late 2023, and Gatwa's first full episode will air over the festive period 2023, followed by his first full season in 2024.

The one thing I'm already happy about is the return of the Christmas Special; I hated that switch to New Year. I've come to equate Who with Christmas even when the special sucks.

Ah, okay. I thought we were a while away from anything new. Thanks.

Basically they're bringing Tennant back to try and rekindle people's interest in Who before handing it over to a new Doctor who they suspect a fair number of people might have hesitation to taking to, especially off the back of what was considered a failed run by many people of the previous incarnation.

I still need to finish Whittaker's seasons, and I'll probably pop in for Tennant's specials but I kind of feel like the bloom is off the rose with Who anymore. Perhaps this new Doctor can being me back, but I dunno.

NuWho kinda makes it hard to pick the Doctor out of a crowd. Maybe he needs a Ben Cooper Halloween graphic on his shirt. His face in mono-colored line art surrounded by smaller heads of the previous Doctors and "Hi, I'm Doctor Who!" printed in an off-model font across the top.

Hee, hee! Sorry, no ill will here. Just some good-natured ribbing. I realize he's got to look "hip" for the youngsters!

At least the cosplay won't be a challenge!

(Disappointed by the unnecessary cussin' in his reveal clip, but I'll reserve judgement. Please get this man some good writing and music! I can think of a dozen ways Whittaker might have been better received had her run been in more capable hands.)
