This guy was part of the "can't wait to get in front of the TV crowd" for me and I suspect many of you were right there with me.

It's odd to think I was amongst the first Sesame Street and MTV audiences.

Bob was my favorite human on Sesame Street. He always seemed such a genuinely nice person. RIP.

I would say that Bob, Maria, and Mr. Hooper were my favorite neighbors.

My sister and I had a boxed set of Sesame Street 45s that we played repeatedly for years on a little portable player. I liked his interest in music and his earnest, genial amiability, traits that Fred Rogers also possessed.
