    Damnation Alley(1977)

I just saw an article about this comparing to the time when star wars came out too and starred George Pappard and Jan Michael Vincent.I've never heard of it Anyone remember seeing this? The vehicle looked cool.

Yeah, I've always liked it. Certainly worth watching.
The Landmaster vehicle is definitely the highlight of the movie.

Damnation Alley was great but had a made for TV movie-of-the-week vibe … Kinda like Westworld

Still, great guilty pleasure movie --- Peppard is his usual Banacek/Hannibal self

My biggest gripe was Paul Winfield dying so quickly in the movie.

BTW, Trivia …. The throwing rocks kid was Freddy Kruger in the remake Nightmare on Elm Street --- no BS

Movie of the Week vibe isn't an awful thing considering that includes Salem's Lot.

    Yes, it's a good movie.

The Landmaster can dig in a bit to survive storms, so that was also good.

They had a set showing the inside of Circus Circus casino, and it was pretty close to how it looked.

I think Jackie Earle Haley was in one episode of The Planet of the Apes television series.
