I do my shopping at the O.G. Location, which means I have to brave the O.G. parking lot (cars must have been a lot smaller back then ).

The mural captures it all: City Hall, The Rose Bowl, The San Gabriel Mountains, The Mount Wilson Observatory and Suicide Bridge (Colorado Street Bridge). I think the Oranges are symbolic of Orange Grove Blvd., the starting point of The Rose Parade.

Even though I have worked 30 years at my town's best known grocery store, I love shopping at Trader Joe's which is down the street from my house.Their brand of chocolate milk is the best and love their tempura shrimp and other hor deaves and select meats. Plus, like chik filet the people and service are amazing and other companies need to take head of how they do that and treat customers.

We just have Shop-Rite, Weis, Giant and that's about it not counting Walmart

Yes, Trader Joe’s is also my favorite grocery store. It’s a small version of Whole Foods, but with cooler and cheaper priced items.

They have the best and yummiest selection of frozen foods. I swear, I’ve tried dozens of different ones, and they all rule. Not the crappy frozen crap you find at Safeway for example. Their Mandarin Chicken is a must buy. So is their Hatch Chile Mac & Cheese, yum. They have the best and cheapest priced Greek Kalamata extra Virgin olive oil, it’s really awesome, I use it in my homemade popcorn, tastes just like butter. Their Way More Chocolate Chip Cookies are amazing. Their homemade flour tortillas are just like mom used to make. I always get their pineapple juice, tastes better than Doles. Oh, their Honey Roasted Peanuts…

We also have a small grocery chain called Farmer’s Joe’s. One of the markets is only a couple of blocks away from my house. Similar to Trader Joe’s, but the difference, Farmer Joe’s has a proper service deli and butcher shop. Tons of organic stuff. Love that place too.
