    Troll (2022)

(No, not a remake of the 1986 movie directed by John Carl Buechler! )

This great Norwegian monster movie is about a giant troll awakened during the excavation of a railway tunnel through a mountain.
Recommended if you want some epic Nordic kaiju action.

Reminds me of the original version of the Maelstrom ride at Epcot.

I liked Troll Hunter from some years back. That was a lot of fun. And, I love the 1986 movie which needs a serious remake! Not to derail but I'll just leave this here...

Boyfriend & I decided to watch this in the tv room (giant screen & surround sound) since it's a movie you have to read. We enjoyed it as much as any other Kaiju movie and hope we get that sequel that was mentioned at the end.

i really liked that. the dubbing was actually really well done so you can watch it in English without the voices being distracting

I’ll check it out. Just saw the trailer, the special-effects look really good.

Just watched it. It was really good. The Troll was scary too.

Yeah, still pleasantly pleased how polished the special-effects were, especially for a Norwegian movie. I say that, because only about 5 million people speak Norwegian, so it doesn’t make sense to produce really high budget movies. They do make terrific movies, but are usually dramas, not elaborate big action flicks.

It was a lot of fun. Pretty much what I would have expected and wanted from a good giant monster on the loose movie.
