    MEGO WGSH for the win!

I know I've been a harsh critic of new MEGO, but I've also praised them when they get it right.

Boy did they get it right with the 50th WGSH line! The quality is amazing, and they blow the FTC versions away.

A side-by-side pic shows the FTC figures too pale skin, misshapen head, and baggy suit. Unseen is the wobbly head, and he's strung so tight he can barely move.

The MEGO version is just perfect. It looks and feels exactly like the figure I had as a kid, and the new body is fantastic. Beefier and easily holds any pose!

    Great work to all involved!

And Mego has done a fantastic job with the cape tailoring, all the proper pleats and the front tuck on Batman. FTC had great material but the overall tailoring was off. Looks like Mego is using the proper fabric, too--poly jersey single-knit, not lycra.

No offense to those who collect stuff from Figures Toy Company, but everything I've ever seen from them looks like a very badly made knock off of Mego. Thank the gods Mego is back.
