Mego 50th Anniversary Star Trek

Paul Clark asked us over on Facebook Ambassadors if we would want the original Mego Star Trek figures made again ( and new characters ) with original card design for the 50th anniversary. I'm all for it. Those of you that are Ambassadors go over and vote.

I'm not an Ambassador, but am all for a 50th Anniversary reissue of all 14 figures with the original artwork, sculpts, and clothing.

You mean like I did in 2008 with the DST Trek?

I'd love to see a revival (however temporary) of the original card style and I'd prefer to see it used to produce never-before-released characters a la the modern Sulu and Chekov releases. That's what I'd buy.

I have the Young Khan figure from Diamond Select, very cool. They also made a Jeff Hunter Pike, and those run about $200 on ebay now, so I'd like to see Mego reissue that one. The movie character I want the most is Sybok. I love the movie even with its flaws; it really captures the spirit of TOS.

Exactly. Why I prefer the boxes(less plastic) and screen accurate updates for Mugatu and add Vina to the lineup. Reish of old sculpts on updated bodies would be great! I would buy Gorn(NEW) again, in a Mego box.

This isn't 50th anniversary yet but it's awesome. Someone posted this on Facebook Ambassadors. Someone found new Mego listings on a foreign website. The classic Trek Talosian is there too but unfortunately on a Strange New Worlds card. A lot of new 50th WGSH listed too.

Chapel, Rand, Vina/Marta, Tellerite, Trelane, & Mudd are my most-wanted, with a fuzzy Mugatu reissue. Leslie would be lovely and seems obvious.
